  First of all, there was no air circulation at all therefore very warm and stagnant in the office. They falsely advertised that customers would receive $50 once their tax preparation was completed which is untrue. I didnt receive $50 that day or the next, which is today. I was told by the lady who prepared my taxes it was because "he didn't leave any funds at the office". I was not given a receipt or paperwork of any kind. In fact, I have no clue what I was charged to prepare my taxes. I let the preparer know ahead of time that I did not file my state taxes the year prior yet she failed to take care of it, and actually seemed surprised when I referenced it at the end of the preparation, so it seemed that she forgot. When I asked again in a later phone call why she hadn't taken care of last year's state tax refund, she told me that "he" would make me pay upfront so she didn't do it. I did clearly say I wanted this taken care of in the beginning. Also, I let her know the ONLY reason I was not filing myself was because I really needed the advance refund of $1300. I asked why one would be turned down and she said for student loans or if you owe someone money. I stated that I had a couple of late credit card payments but nothing in collection. She eluded this would not be a problem with her decision to start preparing my taxes. I found out the next morning that I was denied the advance refund yet she did not know why. Republic Bank turned me down and should send an email or letter stating the reason. So I asked about the $50 and was told to call a different office, which I did, and was told that they had nothing to do with the Pascagoula office. I asked for Corporate's number. Before calling Corporate, I attempted to reach Republic Bank via telephone. My attempts to reach a live person or get any information failed. So Corporate would have to help right? Think again; they simply took down all the information I shared here and said someone would call me within 24 hours to address my issues. Frankly, the service was incomplete, sloppy, and needless considering the exorbitant amount of money I've yet to learn that I paid to get an advance that I did not even get. Guess I'll see if tomorrow Liberty will be able to produce a receipt and an advertised $50 on the spot payment. TURBOTAX IS QUITE SUFFICIENT AND PROBABLY TONS CHEAPER THAN THIS DISASTER OF A BUSINESS.
